Old windows are something that you can find at austerity stores, one thousand sales and flea markets for inexpensive. They are and then versatile and can be used indoors or out for unique home decorating ideas. My favorite way to apply them is simply to identify a seasonal wreath on it. It has a pretty farmhouse await.

2. Paint the window frame

I wanted the window frame to go on an aged look and didn't desire it to be completely covered in paint. To achieve this, I gave it a simple white wash paint technique. This is basically just dry brushing white paint effectually the unabridged frame. You tin yet see lots of fries and breaks in the frame. This adds to the shabby look!

3. Tape The napkin to the window

I wanted to employ the pretty chinoiserie floral design that was in the napkins. The easiest way was to do that was to tape the napkin to the underside of the window. That way I could trace the blueprint onto the front of the glass.

4. pigment the flowers onto the window

Use the glass paint marker to trace the design onto the window glass. It's very easy to see the design through the glass. The napkin is not as large equally each pane, then you lot volition need to line up the napkin to consummate each pane.

5. continue to Pigment THE window

Repeat the painting process in each window pane until the window is complete. Yous can also just paint a portion of the window and also use more than 1 color. It is totally a matter of preference. I really wanted to stick with the blue and white expect that is throughout my home.

The primary tip I have is to have your fourth dimension and accept fun with it. I did non complete this all at once. I did a couple of window panes at a time. Also, the paint pens arrive so much easier than really painting with a small-scale pigment brush.
